I've been potting for over 30 years!!

 

1980 : Became interested in ceramics whilst studing at Cheltenham Art College on a years foundation course.

1980 -1984: Went on to do a degree in ceramics at South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education (Cardiff)

 

1984 - Set up Walton House Studio Pottery in Stow-on-the Wold. Making domestic stoneware and "one off" Porcelain pieces. Mostly reduced in a gas kiln.

1994 - Started making pots for Whichford Pottery in Stow as an outworker, making glazed Terracotta plant pot saucers and small Flower pots.

 

1998 - Moved my pottery to White Chapel Farm, Broadway, Worcs and continued to make Terracotta flower pots for Whichford Pottery. Continued to make a few stoneware pots as well.

 

2008 - Moved to Bretforton and mothballed my pottery. Became a senior production thrower and technical expert at Whichford Pottery.

 

2014 - Set up a small studio at home making small stoneware and porcelain pots...
